If Only...
Sometimes I wonder
If I declaimed to them
Told them
“I will catch the stars dripping down your smudged cheeks
So when the vast emptiness of the world abandons you,
Despair but come here
Come here and I will fill the vessel you believe you are
With the remaining light I harbored from Cruel Life
I will give you All
All that I have
For it is all that remains.”
I wonder if I murmured those wisps of my essence
Into their souls
Would my love
Allow them to love themselves?
