I think there's nothing better than seeing a three-chord straight up rock 'n' roll band in your face with sweaty music and three minute good songs.
Joan Jett

That jacket
That perfect leather slippery fit
It was your fathers
He Tailored it
Every last drunken strand
Every roar of the motor down the fast lane
Every cigaret let out into the world to vanish ...useless
Now fitted to you
the Oder the same musk
The feel of the sealskin against your motor
The car goes faster now the jacket keeps you hidden from the high speed winds
Thoes winds trying to peal off your mask
And the cigaret burns
And shame
But you won't heed because regret is the more toxic choice
Then to suck like an infant off your fathers special formula
All thoes efforts a gear u never switched into
What happened to teaching ?
You wanted to be one
You thought maby you could keep score with the game
Retaliate
But they made you come in naked didn't they
Without your jacket
Unless it was speared like the head of a victorious battel
And you are now like the smoke ommited into the air
Faded into your jacket
There for a moment
Gone
They said Friday was a fun night
But what dose it matter
? Because you too..
Just a fading memory
With a tailored jacket
In the making for the next one
And you are a cycle just a blip
Not forever young
