Favorite Quote:
Good timber does not grow with ease; the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees.

When the sun is big and red, it is beautiful.
When the sky is bright and vibrant, it is beautiful.
When the stars flicker, it is beautiful.
When the sky is as clear as can be, it is beautiful.
When the clouds are gray, it is beautiful.
When rain seizes to stop, it is beautiful.
When the sun occupies the sky alone, it is beautiful.
When the clouds are spread too thin, it is beautiful.
When the sky disappears in the fog, it is beautiful.
When the moon is small and thin, it is beautiful.
When the stars disappear, it is beautiful.
When the sky looks like the sea, it is beautiful.
When the sky looks like hell, it is beautiful.

When you are beaming with joy, you are beautiful.
When you are full of light and ambition, you are beautiful.
When you flash your warm and full smile, you are beautiful.
When you are balanced and open, you are beautiful.
When you are too upset to speak, you are beautiful.
When your eyes drown in tears, you are beautiful.
When you need to be silently alone, you are beautiful.
When I cannot recognize you anymore, you are beautiful.
When you disappear into basements and dark corners, you are beautiful.
When you feel little and empty, you are beautiful.
When you cannot feel anything anymore, you are beautiful.

When you look like the sea, you are beautiful.
When you look like hell, you are beautiful.

The author's comments:
I wrote this about someone I love dearly. Actually, it is someone I am absolutely in love with but cannot be with. He has struggled with severe depression. He has tried to commit suicide multiple times. He has drug addiction issues. He believes these issues make him a bad person, but he is not. He is beautiful.

This poem does not have to be about him, though. There are many ways to interpret this piece. So do as you will.
