Teenage love arose while reality died.
Something revealed great spirits,
resting in a drink of whiskey.
Confidence diminished along with him.
Lost, extorted, and revealed,
Where are you now?
It was an adolescent marriage that ended with divorce.
He was an absentee and my crush.
But the little girl rapidly aged to a woman,
raised with a rare, uncanny, grim love.
