She Won't Listen
February 8, 2014
She won’t listen when I tell her
She’s just hurting herself
She won’t listen when I tell her
There’s no reason to cry over it
She wont listen when I tell her
It’s more beautiful outside than her inside is
She blocks me out
And cries when I tell her to stop
She closes the blinds and makes it hurt more
Even though I keep telling her I can make it stop
But she won’t listen.

This is beautiful. I struggle with depression and self-harm and it gave me chills. Keep writing :)

As someone who has struggled with depression I really detest this poem but minus my background because most people don't see it from my POV it's a well set up poem that a lot of people can relate to.
