Pray to Love
Dear God,
Sweet. Different. Changed?
Is this her or a view from a fogged window?
Can she possible care at all?
Joy, enters me in a form of people.
And I laugh at their insults
I take no offense to their views.
I smile a careless yet sincere smile.
I try my hardest to make them feel alright, to feel loved and accomplished.
Is it worth it? Do they want it?
Laughter, is my best friend.
Joy is my cousin
Sorrow is my sister.
I was lost, count the cost
I am found... my wings banded and my feet reading
My heart is building, my soul awakening.
Awake my soul, Awake my being for all I desire to do is love you.
And all I ever meant to do was keep you
