Old Friends.
Once, we shared
Everything.
We did everything together.
Now, as we pass
In the hall,
We avoid each other's
glance.
It isn't hard,
Seeing as we have no classes
Together.
We grew apart.
Missed phone calls,
Canceled plans.
Whenever thoughts
Of who we used to be
Creep into
My mind
Without my permission,
I shove them away
And concentrate hard
On something else.
Who we used to be,
Who we are now,
Four different people.
