I know what breaking rules feels like, believe me.

I know the initial feeling of adrenaline pumping through my veins.
(is. that. contentment. or. regret?)
I know the high-fives that come after, immediately followed by laughter or gasps.
(you. did. what?)
I never break the big rules, though, a goal hanging over my head.
(save. the. best. for. last. I. know. what. I'm. doing.)
the only rules I'll never break are the ones I make for myself.
(those. will. not. lead. me. astray.)
