I hate to see you go,

But you seem to be

As close to me as

The sun is to night,

As a snowflake to a blazing hearth.

I just want your friendship,

Nothing more, but it isn't there for me.

Life will go on, but wouldn’t it be nice

To not live like fire and ice?
