Africa’s queen, the majestic lioness
Mighty and fierce, in the plains of the sprawling Serengeti
The lioness sleeps in the tranquil dawn
It wakes roaring, in the morning silence
Staring in the depths of the grassy plains, searching for a delectable prey
Soon found, a naive antelope grazing in the lush grass
Startled, it bounds far from the famished feline
Running faster, for the unfortunate prey, she catches up
Soon a carcass lies in the lioness’s grasp
Dragging the succulent meat to her warm den
Gnawing on appetizing ribs, meat filling its mouth
Satiated, the lioness lays down for a nap
The brilliant sun comes down in multiply colors
Heating rays shower the plains as the sun descends
Bright stars flickering in obscurity,
Humid fog cradles the full moon, concealing it
A curtain of darkness veils the scene
