Little Chipmunk
The furry Nut-Meg ball rustling on leaves
As it bounces delicately on the crisp layers
A delicious scent of fresh breeze
…and to the chipmunk,
Nuts and seeds
Stuffing its cheeks and jumping happily away
Nature fairies turn autumn into winter,
For the trees are plucked and bare
Darting, bounding, squeaking chipmunk
Feels breezes of the chilly air
It flies into its burrow
Leaving its food and coils up in the corner
As the big auburn sphere stripes the scarlet west
The chipmunk dies down, and finally rests
