The world is being murdered somehow,
Every day,
Every minute,
Every second.
All we tend to do is sit back and watch it fall apart.
People are being hurt all over the world.
You turn on the news and all you hear about is bad horror happening;
Bombings, tornados, hurricanes, shootings.
We never hear about the joy that goes on in this universe anymore,
And every minute we just sit back and watch because we are too nervous to help.
We are not only hurting others, but ourselves.
The clock is ticking, tick tock, tick tock,
Your time is coming to an end; do you really want to end our life being a bystander,
Or do you want to end it by being a hero.
All we have to do is help each other; listen, talk, strive to do what is right.
Tick tock, tick tock,
Every day,
Every minute,
Every second,
You could make a change.
Think of all the little kids losing their parents,
Or all the parents losing their little kids.
If it’s just picking up a piece of trash or creating something new to help succeed this nation,
We can live the rest of our lives, happy…
And isn’t that the way things are supposed to be?
