Favorite Quote:
If my love were an ocean,
there would be no land.
If my love were a dessert,
you'd see only sand,
If my love was a star-
at night, only light.
And if my love could grow wings,
I'd be soaring in flight.
-Hannah Baker, Thirteen Reasons Why

Burning flesh,
heated voices,
torrid kisses,
sorrowful choices.

The white dust in your bloodstream,
the blurred bronze liquid down your throat,
fists thrown at jaws like javelins,
Glazed eyes and cold skin like a second coat.

Gunshots,
knives,
broken hearts,
smiles.

Wedding rings melted in the heat of hatred,
frostbite carried in the smell of fear,
the sound of a scream late at night,
but nobody was there to hear.

Nightmares,
ghosts,
demons,
hoax.

Ropes attached to necks and used as ornament hooks,
Sad smiles buried beneath the hurt,
dark days and no light,
trust and hope no longer worn on a shirt.

Sunlight,
moonlight,
clouds,
and stars.

Hands clawing at the ground,
screams muffled by the fabric of a pillow,
crazed and insane,
inner mind killer.

Rays of light,
resulting in the revelation of happiness.
Happiness?
What is that?
