Alluring Rain
The soil in my garden is ready to drink,
The asters are waiting to bath,
I stand by to drench my cloth.
AND YES – the cloud is gonna pour in my path.
The downpour had transfigured my doldrums
From dejection to delectation,
Had turned the tint of my dull florets
To coruscating beauties.
The mild cold climate,
The raindrops sliding in the veins of fronds,
The puddles to splash and play with a mate,
Make me to relive my childhoods
And leave a big glee in my face.
