Within The Depths
You will find someone who
dreams about the past,
longing to go back,
living with every regret.
You will find someone who
prefers a life of solitude.
She keeps very few close to her,
because they all screw her over eventually.
You will find someone who
is like a brisk winter storm,
with a bitter touch,
she's always felt ice cold.
You will find someone whose
heart burns in rage,
because of the people she left behind,
only after they left her behind.
You will find someone who
is like thin, fragile glass,
so easy to shatter,
with the slightest impact.
You will find someone who
is like a raging fire,
burning away her inner demons,
hoping to survive the struggle.
You will find someone who
is like a demon herself,
clawing through the depths,
exposing herself to the real world.
You will find someone who
lives in an illusion,
whose simply a wallflower,
searching for her place in the world.
You will find someone who
seeks normality,
who knows her mind is far from it,
who knows she's going insane.
You will find someone who
doesn't care about
all the bells and whistles of
being a teenager.
You will find someone who
stumbles when she's running
from her problems,
when her sight is blurred by her tears.
You will find someone who
is determined to shed
her eternal misery,
to leave it behind, to be okay.
