Invisible Ink
And the words spilled out of my mouth and onto the paper
They couldn’t be heard
Nor could they be spoken
That is why I wrote them
Wrote the fears, the secrets, the pains, the jokes
Because when I wrote,
No one else could read it
Like my words were of some mysterious code
All of them could not understand what I was going through,
Would not know the thoughts that fluttered across my mind
I was a secret
Only I knew everything about myself
What I have done,
And what I plan to do
My words were invisible ink
That only made sense to me
