Silently grieving in a moment of despair.
Tears roll down my cheeks but I do not care
Roars of the living
Shouts of the dead
May you please get out of my head?
I don't want to hear the warriors cry
I don't want to bellow out in the name of death
I don't want to live in the present because it's a broken gift
A wish for the future to be brighter than today's
A false hope would be good enough
I don't want to do anything but listen to my own tune
I don't want to be anywhere under the moon
I just want to cry, wish and listen to my tune.

This is a poem that I wrote for my upcoming novel, Looking Back at the Looking Glass. Ace lyn is the main character and faces many struggles. If you liked this poem, just wait till you read the story...
