How Good
In the morning,
I walk through the auburn woods
A breeze in the mild air gives life
To the leaf-topped giants around me.
As i throw a rock
Off the un-sturdy, wood bridge,
The plop into the water scares off a squirrel.
I can see the glare of the sun
Peeking through the branches.
I look down to the glistening
Of the great star on the water -
And up
To the beauty around me.
I remember how good
God is.
