My mom says I have the talent
Of seeing without seeing anything at all.
I avoid things in my path,
without ever knowing what it actually was.

She says 'talent' in a way that makes it a curse
At which I am blinded by,
but still manage to pass by.

Others say it's a gift.
I can go on
while others stop and fall.

Others are also known for loving someone,
because their weaknesses are stronger than others.
It makes them feel good,
to be able to pitty someone else.

I believe it is both a curse and a gift.
It is a gift because
I don't weep about things,
I move on.
I no longer feel the pain,
That is harsh enough,
To lead people to cause others pain,
For they can't handle their own.
It is a curse because I no longer feel anything at all.
I can't stay long enough to,
And when I do,
I don't know how to act.
Because it is an act, for I always ignore the fall.
