My December
Some one said this is my December, the coldest month of the year.
I feel its only icy because November froze all the tears.
and October made them fall.
September made us care,
and August made us call.
July burned it into ashes
after June set it into flames.
May, we fell in love.
April, we became fools and played the game.
March we forgave and began.
February was so short it was like the love that never came.
January, we remembered it all
and vowed to never repeat it again.
lord know that's not the truth,
but we all wish our actions hold as our word's proof.
But that's what happens when hands are fast,
and lips are loose.
yes its cold,
but my heart remains on fire.
This is my December,
and next year i vow not to be another lier.
