Sometimes
I look up
And I see a big blue sky
Pushing down on me
When it should be lifting me up.
But then
I spread my wings
And I set out to conquer that
Great
Open
Space.

The author's comments:
a long time ago when I was younger I would just. Look up at the sky. And I would feel suffocated by this great thing, pressing itself down upon everything. It never ended, and it never really changed. But I don't react like that anymore. Now I just see a great, big imagination space. A blank piece of paper, waiting to be written on or scribbled on or any other millions of things.
