Slipping
I hold onto you, but I cannot hold on for long.
Falling
I lose my grasp and am consumed by the darkness.
Screaming
My mouth opens wide as fear rushes out.
Flailing
I reach out in the dark, hoping to find something.
Losing
Hopelessly falling into a pit of nothingness.
Stopping
I allow my arms to lay limp at my sides as I continue to fall.
Panicking
Black dots appear in my vision, my mind slips away.
Nothing
No feeling, no emotion. I hit the bottom.

To me this poem is about depression, how at the beginning one may fight, but in the end one hits rock bottom. Although, this poem can be interpreted in different ways.
