The pain of despair
All of the pain is so similar
Yet not

I allowed myself to hope
To go so far as to want
Ignoring my gut
Ignoring my mind
Allowing in the sweet tenderness of ignorance
Allowing the fantasy to come alive
It showed me colors
It showed me a beautiful life
Once a clear image formed,
It was ripped away

I fell
Crashed
I broke into a thousand pieces
A thousand pieces too shocked

All hope taken away
