Don't turn away from the light.
It eats you,
Pushes you,
Farther and farther until
You can't speak.
You can't hear.
All you can do is see.

See the monsters,
Closer and closer.
Their claws pulling you
Near.
Wishing for your flesh,
Your soul.
Your life.
You.
Don't turn away from the dark.
