Parts of me
I watch you all as we sit
Shoulder to shoulder
Huddled together to keep in the warmth
Almost like we all blend together
Like we aren’t five separate, but one human
Maybe it’s dumb to think I’ll have you forever
The one with the freckle painted face and crowded mind
The one who can’t sit still
The one who I can call at any hour and she’ll come running
The one I hated for so long and can’t seem to see why
And me
We make up this pact
We would do anything for each other
We know everything about each other, we are a part of each other
And that is something I myself, cannot comprehend
