Grief is a weeping willow
Saddened and fearful
Hunched over in despair
Explained by pain, not happiness

Grief is a weeping willow
Pieces dropping and falling
Never to be put back together
Blowing away with the wind

Grief is a weeping willow
Still and beautiful
Yet beholds hidden mysteries
Behind its thick bark

Grief is a weeping willow
Never moving until
It dies and falls and
Shakes the forest floor.
