I stand there across the ridge
hands shaking in fear
the only thing separating us is a bridge
the beasts eyes follow me
from our earlier battle
I still feel the pain in my knee
On the other side stands the Minotaur
we each take a step forward
closer now we are
If only I had the help from Zeus
but this is my punishment
I may not wish for a noose
Wishing I could be spared from this world of evil
to stop the constant anxiety
the Minotaur goes for the retrieval
his axe lay in the middle of us
double edged and ready
I run, my body puts up a fuss
Together we collide
only one can grab the axe,
and thats for you to decide
