It Molds You
Chest pounding,
Ears ringing.
Bodies crashing into my sides with such force,
knocking me from side to side and back again.
Music, like a wave running through my veins,
taking me over.
Singing the simple song that sets us straight,
with such meaning and soul
More than music to most;
A message.
A way to live and,
Something to live by.
And they take the stage, instruments in hand and lecture.
A lecture that flows and sticks, like a knife in your chest
And molds you,
To be you.
