I was born an ORIGNIAL so I refuse to die a COPY

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, ask me what you may.
The pain of this day is one no words can describe.
As you walk do you remember those who died?
The reason you are free?
I can tell you those who do.
A soldiers family.

They watch them leave trying not to cry to much.
Praying they come back home with out a scratch.

Thanks to them we don't have the battle on our soil.
They fight for us and for the rights of human kind.

When a soldier come homes he has arms waiting who have been aching for him.
A baby whose birth hes missed.
A sister and cousin who miss getting picked on.
A mother and father who cry proud tears.
The tears they cry are happy tears, tears of relief.

Then their is the soldier wrapped in a flag.
A wife left alone, tears rolling down her face.
A baby who would never get to know their father.
A sister and cousin who have to cry during their schools Veterans Day memorial.
A mother and father who never get to see their son smile again.

The men who fought don't think of what their country can do for them, though what they can do for their country.
They are left with wounds visible and invisible.
Their fallen brothers and sister all around them haunt their dreams.
A limb gone.
Life is never the same after war.
They fight for you.
For me.
For us.
For the USA.
The least we can do is remember them.
