I'm awakened by soft rustling
then sheathed in silence
Through a fine ghost shell, I glimpse
color-stained blurs, like tissue thin birds
I wriggle out of a green scaled dress
and inch along chrysalis walls
Smelling perfumed Angel White Lilacs
I clumsily land to taste sugary sweet
and syrupy nectar
Surprised that these still misty wings
could carry me
