Rule Breakers
We are the punks.
Who live for what we believe in,
Though people think we are wrong.
We are the punks.
Who look different.
And to some we look wrong.
Piercings, printed skin and pink hair.
People don’t get us.
We are the punks.
Our music is different but inspiring.
The banging and booming of the instruments.
People say it’s annoying, I say it’s empowering.
We are the punks.
Who go against the norm; rule breakers.
We do things we should not.
We are the punks.
Who wear dark, black clothes.
Covered from head to toe
In studs and leather.
We are the punks.
We are that one cloud on a sunny day.
We stick out from the crowd
We go against all social norms.
We are the punks,
The people.
That will change the world.
