Human

I want to know
why they separate
the boys
and
girls
in fifth grade.

Can't we teach
them both
that their bodies
are not the same
but
natural.

Then the girls
won't have to be
embarrassed
about what they
can't control.

And the boys
can understand that
girls can be
beautiful
while they remain
human.

I'm so sorry I meant to put 4stars but my stupid iPad accidentally clicked 3... I'm so sorry about that. Anyway, your poem is really cool. The topic is far-fetched and kind of random, but it's a good kind of random. Made me think about all the crazy stuff that my teachers did in elem school. I liked this overall, but I feel like it should've had a more punch ending, you know? I didn't understand the ending as much as I thought I should, in other words.
