“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”
― William W. Purkey

Like succulent kisses of years gone by,
Winds of time hath left us yet unbroken.
We both know what yonder waits.
Together as one, now and forever more.

Rejecting, renouncing, denying
Timeworn years, that started long ago,
Yet beneath our conscious we both know,
That year’s forthcoming will be our winter’s end.

Though our journey was long and vibrant,
Tuition of life had to be paid.
Our road set forth, magnificently paved
For this calamitous endpoint that we must brave.

On winters eve we wait, with shivering,
Grasping, hands holding each other close.
Our precious time has well been spent.
Tis our turn to repay, the boatman bids us come.
