"No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If [he/she] did, he/she would cease to become an artist." - Oscar Wilde

So You Think You’re Alone
Unlovable
even Aberrated
but the only Reason that tears are running
down the faces of the Ever-present
LOVED
is because they see that you are
Broken.
So she Broke you
took your heart, poor thing, and Ripped at it
with the Cold steel Claws of Insensitivity
And I could slap her for that.
Who did she think she
Was?
What did she Think she was
Doing?
Did she know she Snapped you in Shards?
Leaning against the basketball pole in the sun
Cold Metal, soothing Ice
Rain in your Heart
And the Thunder began.
So that you could no longer tell the Difference
between the rain from your Eyes and the Sky
like there was ever any Difference
to Me.
To Any of Us.
I don’t Pity you
you asked me quite politely to refrain from such emotion
and you are Listenable.
I Listened and I Heard and I Saw
that you were Radiant.
You Say No One Loves You
I Love You
and if that makes me No One
Then So Be It.

Throw a plate on the ground.
Watch it break.
Now say you're sorry, to the plate.
Did it fix it?
I didn't think so.
The words we all want to hear are "Me Too."
