Eyes Are More Than Just Windows To The Soul

An underlying feeling of pain trapped in those eyes,
A graceful smile to pull you from her pain,
A beautiful laugh to hide the secrets locked within her,
You overlook her pain because the joy in her smile,
Though you may not know it she cries herself to sleep,
Her beauty refuses to show it,
For she fears that if you see it, it will hurt you too,
The demon in her soul longs for new prey,
For it's sucked the life from her.
