There wouldn't be happiness without sorrow,
there wouldn't be a today without the hope of tomorrow.
Our hearts would not know how to love if they did not break,
our hands would not know the feeling of accomplishment if they did not create.
There would be no rainbows without rain,
there would be no painless days if we did not once experience pain.
There would be no hope if it weren't for doubt,
we would not once smile if we did not once pout.
We would not have feet if our destination wasn't so far,
I am because you are.
