So Much Depends Upon...

So much depends upon,
the first snows,
whether they stay or whether they go,
So much depends upon,
the sparkling frost,
like fairy dust without any cost,
So much depends upon,
the pale sunrise,
peaches and pinks blotting the skies,
And so much depends upon
being awake,
to give what you give and to take what you take.
