I wish I could write someone strong,
who doesn't cry in the face of danger.
I wish I could write someone captivating,
who holds the world under their thumb.
I wish I could write someone confident,
whose skin doesn't scar.
I wish I could write someone meaningful,
whose heartbeat keeps someone else alive.
I wish I could write someone radical,
whose ideas are completely their own.
I wish I could write someone happy,
who knows the cup is full.
I wish I could write someone perfect.
But what I really wish is to write about me.
