Ode to the crown
The golden ring that has changed history
Is taken by force by the ones you thought you knew
No mercy comes from the edge of the blade
Your blood is spilled while holding the keys to the throne
Bodies of brothers hanging in the streets to adore
Cast down from the seat of high
For that golden ring upon your head
Ode to the Crown

I have been studying the history of Scotland and learning about their kings. learning about how the kings lived and what age they died at inspired me to write this poem.
