"Reflection"

Now I stand on a broken stair trying to find which way is up or down. My dream, to catch, a star and just for a moment wish the reflection staring back at me would disissipate. That the figure I see now would fold itself away a marred image. But no, because of a determination rooted deep within,... I rest in the fact that this just isn't my end. A candle aflame is how I wish to shine. So I will stand and watch as time wrinkles and age descends...
