To all those still sleeping
At times I feel life just said
I'm going to say f you
and leave you with a lie
all those pretty houses
and other services you pass by
all those people with cars and mortgage's
children at recreational parks and services
all those places you call nature
and streams that you call rivers
the land that you call property
and this land that you call free
the vegetables and meat you consume
the graphics in children's cartoons
the news reporters sitting in chairs
the senate and congress matching blank stares
the president that claims to have the solution
the citizens that care more about Twinkie's
then the corporations causing pollution
the animals that inhabit this continent
the stars that keep on winking
and for all of those still sleeping
and for all of those still living
I'm sorry to impose, but this is not a dream
