Favorite Quote:
Human life without knowledge of history is nothing other than a perpetual childhood, nay, a permanent obscurity and darkness.

A time ago when glory was about
Seems today as if in drought.
Sweat of one's labor used to be key,
Now excess is as common as tea.
Tranquil settings now disturbed
Leave us lazy and perturbed.
A fisherman's life turns one free,
If one is obliged to pay the fee.
Great Heavens and God Almighty!
Is there truly way to keep life tidy?
I seem to hear a bell, but for whom?
Man says, 'Dear good traveler, don't be gloom,'
Ask not for whom the bell tolls...'
'...It tolls for thee!'
