Early Morning Munchies

Its 3.am
she can’t sleep
sound of crickets chirping
people snoring
monster rawring
keeps her up.
darkness surrounds her
moving like a sly mouse
sneaking though the
hall to get to the kitchen
she makes her way
threw the darkness
trying not to disturb
the rawring monster
thump, bang, crash!
tripping over toys
only tripping once
she makes it to the kitchen
on the counter her chocolatie
goodness awaits
stuffing her face
the rawring stops
the monster is gone
the nights peaceful again.
Its time to go back to bed.
