Broken

You sit there with red glass shattered, lying on the floor.
Tears gleaming, streaming down your cheek.
Holding tow curved pieces in your hand.
I watch closely trying to understand.
You look up with red eyes.
"It's broken, they're broken," you say.
"He broke both of them."
I shake my head in confusion
Then you shape my conclusion,
"My hearts,"
