The Fall is far.
Don’t follow the others.
They waited.
They were weakened
By time, by change.
They waited
Through spring, through summer.
Growing skeletal, brittle.
Just a brush could break
Their bodies.
So they released.

Don’t release.

You are the last one.
If you Fall,
All is lost.
