Don’t release.
Tighten your grip and
Hold on.
You are too fragile and
The Fall is far.
Don’t follow the others.
They waited.
They were weakened
By time, by change.
They waited
Through spring, through summer.
Growing skeletal, brittle.
Just a brush could break
Their bodies.
So they released.

Don’t release.
Tighten your grip and
Hold on.
You are the last one.
If you Fall,
All is lost.
