Strong Enough

I was strong enough to care.
I was strong enough to share.
Now my strength is fading past.
And I'm falling at last.
What happened to us?
Was it all just?
I've smiled, I've wept.
Now I'm over here my eyes red and wet.
I didn't sleep, nor did I eat.
I have finally been beat.
The only thing keeping me going
Is dreaming and hoping.
But I guess if you are happy
I will be to.
But all in all I love, and will never forget you.
