I've got a disease
Passed down from generation above
Close doors and whispers
Its the cold hearted disease
At first it's a chill
Stab to the back
It grows
So afraid, so afraid of the dark
The whispers
No reason to trust, no reason to love
"go away, your not welcome here"
Among the warm bloods
their heart tossed about
latching on
To a hopeless reality
No,not me
I got the cold hearted disease
I wonder how a warm blood could ever love me
So gentle
So kind
So loving
How?
Could he possibly be mine?
But he is, and I am his too
Its a prickling sensation
Quiet and small
But only at first
I don't understand
Warm?
How?
I think, but no it can't be
I have the cold hearted disease
Spreading
Like a wild fire with a stiff north wind
Warmth spreading
Awakening
But no I have the cold hearted disease
Can't trust
Can't love
No, not me
It just can't be
But then his fingertips so gingerly touch my lips
Then his kiss
Melting, curing
Of my
Cold
Hearted
Disease
