I try not to be opinionated
For it drives one crazy
To defend
What you believe in

But devoid of a background,
A moral base to build upon
Depression
Begins to sink in

Should you confine yourself
To a specific ideal
If it makes you feel…
Safe?

Or is it better to sit it out
And wait?
The answer will come
At the end of the race

But by then,
Will it be too late?
