In a tight room
With many people
There I fought
With my own hands

Red orange and yellow
Felt in my own heart
Flowing freely
Shutting it down

Sweat rolling down
Pride flowing through
Ventilation, ventilation
Done, done, done

Sweeping over
Up and down up and down
Smooth motions
Over haul, over haul

Done, done
One last flow
Nob, flinging me back
Proper support

No longer there
Overcoming, finally flowing
I scream to my team
Back me out boys
She’s dead

This piece was inspired by things that happened to me at a training live burn with my fire company.

I'm glad you like it. You see I'm a fire fighter. Well training to be one. & I'm very small in stature & well female.... Most don't think I am capable of this type of work.... The part of "I'm a natural" comes from the fact that this was my first experience on the nozzle actually personally fighting the fire & it felt as if it was my millionth time. Hence "I'm a natural". Make more sense? I hope so. Thank you for the awesome Feed back.

hmmm. I like it, but i feel like the title doesnt realy connect with poem. What was it really about?? Kudos on the text, though. Beautifully written.
