I see you standing there before me
I can feel you are longing to be free
But, dear reflection, I’m afraid you must remain
In your own world for mine is full of pain
Don’t give me that enraged look
I prevented you from crossing over with the precautions I took
You shan’t ever leave me sight
For in my world, there is no light
I’m guarding you from darkness and horrors unspoken
And yet you plead for the thin glass between us to be broken
If you step into my shoes
You’ll find yourself if a world of fools
Please do not argue with me for I have tried to explain
Do you want to be the one to stand alone in the cold rain?
My darling image, you may be smart
But you know nothing when it comes to the frailty of the heart

Yep, it's official. The stuff on teenink is so much better than the stuff on figment. Not gunna lie. Brandybuck Took, I miss you.
Pretty awesome poem. It's like your reflexion is a child. The sort that wants to see it all and do it all but you turn their face away for their own protection. It was deep. However, I did find one little type-o. I think you used me instead of my.
